Blue Grass/Pigeon

A bridge in Blue Grass/Pigeon Neighborhood

Blue Grass/Pigeon
Neighborhood Association

The Blue Grass/Pigeon Neighborhood Association is located in Vanderburgh County.  The boundaries are: Heckel Road (east) of Green River Road to I-164 dead-end also to include North and South Heerdink Lane and Millersburg Road (east of Green River Road to the Warrick County line.

Our mission is to create a safe, informed and comfortable neighborhood.  We will work together to be informed of decisions that may affect our wellbeing and our personal properties.

Blue Grass/Pigeon organized in 2014 over concerns of their area flooding after every rainfall.  Neighbors knew they needed to come together as a group to have a larger voice and to be notified of new developments in the area.

The area is a county neighborhood association that boasts a very quiet setting with few problems. Residents are now glad to have their friendly Neighborhood IGA located conveniently in the area.

Adjacent to the Blue Grass/Pigeon Neighborhood are Deaconess Sports Park and Goebel Soccer Complex which bring a lot of activity to North Green River Road.
