Vanderburgh County CISMA

The Vanderburgh County Cooperative Invasive Species Management Area (CISMA) is a grassroots group of volunteers with a focus of educating local residents of the environmental dangers of invasive plant species.

There current program is focused on invasive vines in trees. Invasive vines such as English Ivy, Wintercreeper, and Asian Bittersweet can damage and eventually kill trees. The Vanderderburgh County CISMA is looking for 20 residents with these invasive vines on their property to demonstrate how to safely and effectively remove them. You can find more information below.
