Vanderburgh County Soil & Water Conservation District is offering a free workshop on invasive plant species. The workshop will cover topics including common invasive plant species, updates on Terrestrial Plant Rule (the rule preventing trade or exchange of invasive species) and best practices for controlling invasive species.

The workshop will be held Wednesday, Sept. 22nd at Seton Harvest 9400 New Harmony Rd, Evansville, IN. Registration begins at 8:30am. Workshop is from 9:00am – 11:00am. Snack and refreshments will be provided. To reserve your spot please call 812-838-4191 x3 or email jeri.ziliak@in.nacdnet.net.
