Speaker: Officer Mario Reid, Mental Health Liaison Officer, Evansville Police Department
Mario Reid is the Mental Health officer for EPD. In his position, he responds to calls concerning individuals who are having a mental health crisis. Charlotte Critchfield is a LCSW social worker with Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare. She is the coordinator of the Mobile Crisis Team working with people who are in crisis and needing to be assessed for level of care and who might need to stay at the Mobile Crisis unit Jennifer Thomas works with Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare and is the State Psychiatric Hospital Liaison working with patients who are admitted to an inpatient psychiatric unit and who are hospitalized at a long term state psychiatric hospital The group will be addressing the Emergency Detention process.
