On February 16th Vanderburgh County Commissioners Ben Shoulders and Cheryl Musgrave presented UNOE with a check for $5,000 in support of our mission to enhance, promote and support neighborhoods within our community.

Cheryl Musgrave currently serves as President of the Vanderburgh County Commission in Indiana.  As County Commissioner, Musgrave has focused on local infrastructure growth, including roads, bridges, and trails. Musgrave also served as Vanderburgh County Assessor and as Commissioner of the Department of Local Government Finance under Governor Mitch Daniels.

Ben Shoulders is a lifelong Vanderburgh County resident with a passion for serving his community. First elected to the Board of Commissioners of Vanderburgh County in 2016, Shoulders was reelected in 2020 and currently serves as the Vice  President of the Vanderburgh County Commission.

Let’s kick off 2023 with a great start and I would like to say Thank you to each and everyone of you for being part of our beautiful neighborhoods that make up this City of Evansville. I, Lindsey Schenk would like to be your President of the UNOE organization and it’s my honor to work along side with each one of you. I’ve been in the Helfrich Neighborhood going on 16 years, and have served as their President for past several years. Along with that I’ve been on many committees and attended several events for UNOE. It’s my passion to learn, educate myself and build relationships with others. I can’t wait to meet more people in the neighborhoods. See you around and hope to see you at the meetings, events, or joining a committee.

Guest Speaker Deandre Wilson with Bedford Collab

Bedford Collab is an LLC company founded in May of 2020. The purpose of its existence is to provide sustainability through growing fresh produce, aiding in food rescue, and providing a shared commercial kitchen for existing and striving food entrepreneurs, along with revitalizing a disinvested neighborhood. The culture that is created will bring all walks of life into one geographic location for the benefit and flourishing of everyone in proximity.

Please join us in welcoming UNOE’s newest staff member, Casey Rickard.
Casey is a decorated Navy Veteran, and recently purchased a home across from Bayard Park where he lives with his Husband Matt, an Emergency Room Nurse, and their fur  baby Jack. In his free time Casey enjoys painting, reading, and restoring his home.
Along with being UNOE’s new Assistant Manager Casey also works as a Licensed Real Estate Broker with FC Tucker Emge Realtors.
