CenterPoint Energy is putting on the Healthier Homes Program to provide home energy assessments while determining if any of the following specific measures would be beneficial addition to the customer’s home: Spot Ventilation repair/replacement/installation, minor mold remediation, Hypoallergenic indoor air purifiers/dehumidifiers, carpet cleaning, or duct cleaning.

CenterPoint is looking for households suffering from out-of-control asthma in our income qualified program. Residence must be utility territory and in need of standard shell improvements. Homes with a pediatric asthma case will be considered high priority.

CenterPoint Energy is working to begin bridging the gap between the energy efficiency and healthcare industries to cultivate cross-sector partnerships for future Healthier Homes offerings by highlighting the positive impact of shell improvements and basic health interventions in the home on symptoms of respiratory ailments such as asthma.

There is also an opportunity for customers to complete an assessment and earn $20. The survey can be found at: HealthierHomes.org/CenterPointEnergy

In addition, for any eligible friend referred, who completes the assessment, they will receive $20. The first step is to sign up for their assessment, after their assessment has been completed, the technician will provide referral cards. They can drop them into the mail, and we will handle scheduling.
