Candidates in contested races have been invited to speak.

Each candidate will be given 2 minutes to speak, introducing themselves and their issues. Then, you’ll have an opportunity to ask questions and hear their replies.
For offices with uncontested races, the candidates will not be given time to speak, but are encouraged to attend.
We look forward to meeting the candidates, hearing about their campaigns, key issues and how their concerns relate to neighborhoods and the people who reside within them.

United Neighborhoods of Evansville (UNOE) will host the
August Traveling City Hall meeting on Wednesday, August 28, from 5:30-7:00pm at the EVPL Annex at 320 SE Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. The meeting also features a Summer Grill presented by e is for everyone. Volunteers with e is for everyone will be grilling hot dogs and hamburgers for Traveling City Hall participants. A limited quantity of food will be available along with e is for everyone giveaways, while supplies last. Join in on this opportunity to learn about the “e” community initiative and some exciting activities planned this summer to promote the brand. e is for everyone UNOE will share information about our organization’s services and upcoming UNOE and member Neighborhood events. City department heads will be available to talk one-on-one with city residents about any issue involving local government.
The event is free and open to everyone. Parking is available on the street and in the EVPL lot at Cherry & ML King Blvd (near the stoplight). Look for the UNOE tent and signs on the lawn along Cherry St.
